Nuovo Testamento – trio z Los Angeles, w skład którego wchodzą Chelsey Crowley (wokal), Giacomo Zatti (perkusja) i Andrea Mantione (syntezator) – od kilku lat podbija parkiety na całym świecie dzięki połączeniu mrocznego italo-disco i popu nasyconego brzmieniem syntezatorów. Ich debiutancka EP-ka z 2019 roku, Exposure (Avant! Jednak to ich kolejny album z 2021 roku, „New Earth”, naprawdę pokazał mroczne popowe umiejętności trio i zapewnił im miejsce wśród najszybciej wschodzących gwiazd sceny alternatywnej. Rok 2025 był kolejnym przełomowym rokiem dla grupy, a nowa EP-ka „Trouble” zaprezentowała najbardziej dojrzały i eksperymentalny repertuar trio do tej pory.
„Ta płyta nie ukrywa się, jest pełna ciekawości, nie poddaje się i wierzy w przyszłość. Trouble porusza temat zmian i sprzeczności w nas samych oraz odważa się pragnąć czegoś innego, czegoś figlarnego, czegoś prawdziwego”.
Single „Picture Perfect” i „Dream On” uosabiają inspiracje latami 80. i 90., które są bliskie sercu grupy – łącząc freestyle, synth pop i muzykę alternatywną w spójną (i taneczną) kompozycję dźwiękową. Dzięki krystalicznie czystej, nowoczesnej produkcji i pełnym energii kompozycjom, Nuovo Testamento stworzyło świeże, nowe brzmienie, które jest bez wątpienia ich własnym.

Nuovo Testamento – the Los Angeles based trio consisting of Chelsey Crowley (vocals), Giacomo Zatti (drums) and Andrea Mantione (synth) – has spent the last several years seizing dance floors across the world with their blend of dark Italo-disco and synth drenched pop. Think of all of your favorite synth-era throwback hits mixed with a modern pop sensibility and songs that will carve their way into your synapses…and stay there.
Their 2019 debut EP Exposure (Avant! Records) acted as a coldwave calling card for the group, showcasing their promising musical acumen and establishing them as a goth-night favorite. However, it was their 2021 follow up New Earth that truly articulated the trio’s dark-pop prowess and earned them a spot amongst the fastest rising stars in the alternative scene. A kaleidoscopic blast of vintage club sounds, pulsing synths and modern pop precision, the release earned nods from across the genre spectrum. 2023’s self-released Love Lines and tours with Molchat Doma and The Soft Moon solidified the staying power of the band, opening the door for remix collaborations with groups like Drab Majesty, Curses, and Scowl and a busy itinerary of live performances.
2025 was another breakout year for the group, with new EP Trouble showcasing the trio’s most mature and explorative repertoire to date.
