Trupa Trupa is a psychedelic rock band from Gdańsk.

The band’s debut album was released by the British label Blue Tapes and X-Ray Records in 2015, and a year later, a remastered version was released by the French label Ici d’ailleurs. In 2017, their next album, “Jolly New Songs,” was released. The album received a Japanese edition released by Moorworks. In 2019, the single “Dream About” was released on Sub Pop. That same year, the band released the album “Of The Sun.” The album was released as part of an international collaboration between Glitterbeat Records (Europe), Lovitt Records (USA), Moorworks (Japan), and Anteny Krzyku (Poland). In 2023, the film “Zielona Granica” (Green Border), directed by Agnieszka Holland and featuring Trupa Trupa’s song “Headache,” had its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival. The film was awarded the Special Jury Prize in Venice. This year, Trupa Trupa’s music once again found its way into the world of film—their songs were featured in the production “Franz,” directed by Agnieszka Holland, which is Poland’s official Oscar nominee for 2026.
